Have you always wanted to run, but find it hard to get started or stick to a training plan?
Do you want to run your first 5 or 10K in this year? Want to improve your speed, stamina or distance?
My beginner workshops are designed to support and improve your running, to help you avoid injury and find the joy in running outdoors.
Did you know that core strength is essential to improve your running style? That weak glutes can lead to sore knees? That simple changes to posture can improve your endurance? I'll give you guidance on how to build strength, stamina and flexibility for long term benefits to your running.
Workshops will take place over 6 weeks on a Thursday lunchtime or Saturday morning in beautiful locations just 15 minutes from Bristol. Each session will include a warm up, some strength, conditioning and flexibility exercises as well as a 2-3 mile walk/run on various terrain. In our final week we will cover a 5k distance.

Monday night running group
Come and join me and a friendly group of female runners every Monday evening at 7.30pm for a 30 - 40 minute run in Long Ashton. The group is registered with Run Together and you can book yourself in for a run here.
We meet outside the Little Tipple on the Weston Road in Long Ashton for a run of approximately 3 miles around the village. Anyone is welcome, whether you're a beginner or a more experienced runner. It's a sociable group and all levels are welcome. No runner is too slow, honestly! We stick to well lit roads around the village in the winter, but get more adventurous once the evenings get lighter.
Come and join us every week. If, after a couple of sessions, you decide you want to run regularly then I ask for a small monthly subscription to be paid either by bank transfer or PayPal.
