Now the days are getting longer and warmer, make a date with yourself to get outside every day and observe Spring emerging. A daily dose of fresh air will help body and mind too. This is a good time of year to start getting more exercise into your week and plan out those nutrient rich meals too.

It's easy to wallow in the fear and anxiety on bad days and get embroiled in conversations about how terrible the world but how about we all give thanks for all that we have? And recognise that together we can promote tolerance, inclusion, respect and equality and the values that we want our children and our politicians to live with.

Summer holiday planning

While the weather is still unpredictable it is definitely summer now. We may lose the normal weekly routine but have more time to have fun with or without children involved!  The usual classes and timetables for our own physical fitness (as well as the kids) aren't on and there are holidays and adventures to be had which mean that we don't eat at home or have quite the same mealtimes. I'm in planning mode for the summer at the moment so thought I'd share some healthy hints with you.
