Ageing is inevitable. Feeling old is not. Entering our forties is a great time to have a rethink and put ourselves to the top of the to-do list and get our self care right.
It's easy to wallow in the fear and anxiety on bad days and get embroiled in conversations about how terrible the world but how about we all give thanks for all that we have? And recognise that together we can promote tolerance, inclusion, respect and equality and the values that we want our children and our politicians to live with.
While the weather is still unpredictable it is definitely summer now. We may lose the normal weekly routine but have more time to have fun with or without children involved! The usual classes and timetables for our own physical fitness (as well as the kids) aren't on and there are holidays and adventures to be had which mean that we don't eat at home or have quite the same mealtimes. I'm in planning mode for the summer at the moment so thought I'd share some healthy hints with you.
