wildly well woman

Our late 30s and 40s are an important time in our lives in which the investment in our self care can reap huge rewards for our health in the long term. It’s a time in our lives when we can invest in feeling Wildly Well.

To support you in feeling great about your health and hormones I offer a one day retreat-style workshop, a 7 week course, and online one to one coaching.

one day retreat

A day for you to set aside time to really relax as well as understand your hormones and health in a new way.

One day to start planning great strategies for the long term. And to step away from the normal routine, experience connection, learning, and have someone else take care of the food, cups of tea and decision making.

This will include movement, education, meditation and a delicious and nutritious lunch and a reflexology treatment or back and neck massage.

It's going to be a day of reflection, learning and setting you up for health for the long term.

This autumn we have a particular focus on how to get through winter feeling full of good health and to mitigate the impact of shorter days and the busy run up to Christmas.

It's going to be a great day, and a great opportunity to focus on you, your health, your pelvic floor and more.

When: Saturday 16 November 2019

Where: Barrow Gurney, North Somerset

7 week course

Week 1 & 2

What is the perimenopause anyway? What, why and when is the menopause?

An introduction to hormonal changes and what that might feel like for you. I'll talk a little about HRT and why it can be useful to get tested and ask for help.

Pelvic floor health and why we need to pay attention.

week 3 & 4

The impact of what we eat (and drink) in this life phase. What to avoid and limit and what to encourage. How to eat well when life is busy.

Sample exercise routines, easily repeatable at home.

Breathing and relaxation exercises.

Week 5, 6 & 7

The impact of stress and the importance of rest. Helping you create a strategy to get back to being you (not just wife, mum, colleague, volunteer, friend).

The final session will end with a guided meditation as well as hot tea and an opportunity to have a more informal conversation as a group.

what next?

There will be an opportunity to continue with an exercise programme with Wild Country Woman, take part in further monthly evening sessions which will focus on supporting us through the perimenopause or to work with me one-to-one as a personal trainer to really embed healthy changes into your life.
